My client is a reputable Cheshire-based firm seeking a diligent and motivated Conveyancing Assistant to join their thriving residential conveyancing team. This role will involve providing crucial support to a senior fee earner, aiding in the management of residential conveyancing files. This is an office-based position with promising progression opportunities, enabling you to eventually manage your own caseload as you gain experience and expertise in the field. If that is desired.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist Senior Fee Earner: Provide valuable assistance to a senior fee earner in the management and progression of residential conveyancing files.
File Management: Aid in the preparation, review, and management of legal documents, contracts, and correspondence related to conveyancing transactions.
Client Communication: Liaise with clients, solicitors, estate agents, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient and effective communication throughout the conveyancing process.
Legal Research and Documentation: Conduct legal research, gather information, and assist in the drafting of legal documents and agreements.
Administrative Tasks: Handle various administrative duties, including scheduling appointments, maintaining filing systems, and handling incoming and outgoing correspondence.
Qualifications and Experience:
Previous experience within a conveyancing or legal assistant role is advantageous but not mandatory.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively within a team and independently.
Proficiency in relevant computer software and legal applications.
