Summary
Eko (formerly SumOfUs) is looking for an experienced Accounts Payable Contractor to join us in our fight for a sustainable, equitable future for all. We win campaigns against corporations prioritizing profit over the health and sustainability of people and the planet. If you are excited about global economic justice, love working in fast-paced, experimental environments and have expertise in international accounts payable, then this might be the role for you.
The Accounts Payable Contractor will oversee the accounts payable function and will be responsible for monitoring incoming emails in the invoices mailbox, processing supplier invoices, reconciling supplier statements, and resolving queries from suppliers. Additionally, the role involves assisting with the multi-currency payment process and contributing to ad hoc projects as required. As someone with previous accounts payable experience, you’ll be ready to hit the ground running, bringing your finance knowledge and attention to detail skills to this role.
This role is remote for up to 40 hours per week over a 12-month period, with the potential for an extension. It is open to candidates between GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) and GMT +2 (Eastern European Time).
Please be aware that this is a temporary contracted position with a fixed term, not a salaried core staff role. If you have any questions on what this means, please reach out prior to application.
