The Role

The role of the Account Manager is to build relationships with existing clients through the understanding of their business needs and goals. You will also develop strategies to grow and retain our customer revenue base and ensure that you are providing quality, cost-effective services.

What you will be doing

  • Key point of contact between the company and the client to help grow the suite of services they leverage at EventsAir and achieve business goals by building trust and providing strategic and realistic solutions.
  • Achieve and improve set customer retention targets to develop customers for life.
  • Execute Strategies to upsell and cross sell into existing customers and drive user product acceptance.
  • Exceed after sales revenue targets via effective customer outreach programs and activities
  • Report on Customer metrics – Customer Contact, Renewals and Add-On revenue.
  • Assist with escalations of any challenges our customers have in terms of using the product or barriers to growth, taking appropriate action including orchestrating the appropriate resources or department for the resolution of such queries
  • Coordinating with our marketing, pre-sales, success, and support teams to ensure a smooth customer journey.

What to expect from this role

Our customers are a varied and diverse mix of corporations, government departments, universities and associations running events for their stakeholders. You’ll be expected to ensure our customers are getting the most out of our product and services by:

  • Gaining a deep understanding of the customer’s needs and what they expect from our company
  • Develop tactics that will deliver the most appropriate products or services
  • Understanding their needs and providing guidance.
  • Use your outstanding communication skills to present to and influence key stakeholders in our company and with clients.

You’ll gain a deep understanding of the EventsAir product and knowledge of its practical applications plus work cross-departmentally with sales, marketing, and product development to ensure the customer is served appropriately and finds opportunities to provide new sales opportunities with existing customers.

What do we need from you?

To be successfully considered for our Account Management Role, you will be excellent at fostering client relationships, listening to customer pain points and needs, along with the following:

  • Citizenship or permanent residency of the UK
  • At least 2 years in a Software as a Service (SaaS) background
  • Have had a minimum of 3 years account management experience
  • Able to commute to Milton Keynes to work in the office, as required
