We have registered a fantastic opportunity to join this amazing, world-renowned organisation! This is an interesting position supporting an international programme. The successful candidate will have a background in events management, logistics, and working with young people globally.
This role is full time, working 37.5 hours per week via the Allen Associates weekly PAYE payroll. It will start at short notice and is likely to be ongoing for 6-7 months. As a result, candidates with a lengthy notice may not be suitable.
Please note it is a requirement for all staff at this organisation to undertake an Enhanced DBS check as part of the onboarding process and on an ongoing basis. Please only apply if you are happy with this process.
Temporary Programme and Events Manager Responsibilities
- Acting as the central point of contact for all participants, their families and guardians
- Facilitating the visa application process
- Booking specific travel requirements for all participants
- Supporting the participants in a pastoral sense
- Event management, as well as risk assessments and emergency planning
- Managing all data and project timelines, policy development and conflict resolution
- Gaining feedback before, during and after the event to identify areas for development
- Regularly communicating with participants and families during the event

Temporary Programme and Events Manager Requirements
The successful candidate must be able to work full time in July and August, and should be happy to work unusual hours, including early mornings, weekends, and late evenings during the event.
- Strong project and events management skills, gained in a similar role, working with young people
- A committed team leader, able to showcase role modelling behaviour as well as advanced problem resolution capabilities
- Proven data management skills and a tech savvy approach to event management
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Strong teamworking skills, collaborative and dedicated to expanding opportunities for young people across the globe
- Able to work to advanced MS Office standards and with a CV that demonstrates a confident ability to pick up new systems seamlessly
