Salary: £26,000 – £28,000

Job Summary

This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is looking to progress in a high performing business that is growing rapidly. As a key member of the team, you will be joining a supporting and collaborative team who thrive on positive energy and drive, whilst remaining focussed on delivering the highest quality products and service to customers.

Main duties will include:

  • Assist Area Sales Managers (ASMs) with quoting and following up quotations to maximise sales conversion for new and existing customers.
  • Relationship development with new and existing customers in order to support sales.
  • Assist ASMs by analysing customer spend and product portfolios.
  • Coordinate customer appointments for ASMs.
  • Management of sales inbox.
  • Same coordination of chemicals and other bought in ranges (via suppliers) within a short timescale.
  • Ensure customer complaint handling is resolved in line with service levels.
  • Following company New Product Development (NPD) and Existing Product Development (EDP) projects and procedures.
  • Free on Loan Contracts including database management and contract renewals.
  • Corporate Hospitality Coordination.
  • Assist in delivering on our strategy and growth aspirations for 2023 and beyond.

Support function duties:

  • Second port of call for inbound calls of a sales and customer service nature.
  • Daily outbound calls to a designated customer database when required.
  • Purchase order processing when required.
  • Update and maintain the CRM system and customer special price lists.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments to meet customers’ needs and expectations, e.g. liaising with supply chain, obtaining PODs.

Qualifications/Experience:

  • At least 3 years’ experience in sales admin and customer service.
  • Pleasant disposition with a customer service focus.
  • Must be able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Detail orientated, self-motivated, resourceful and reliable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • 3 years’ experience in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • Experience with CRM systems.
