Lead SAP Business Analyst (S/4HANA Transformation – FICO / SD)
London (1-2 days per week / not every week in the office – for workshops, kick off meetings or similar)
12 month fixed term contract (likely extended by a further 1-2 years)
Salary c.£75000 – £85000 + bonus, benefits
Experienced Lead SAP Business Analyst required for a 1 year fixed term contract (likely to extend to 3 years) to support a sizeable SME through the ECC to S/4HANA transformation, specifically focussing on the FICO and SD modules.
They are at the start of this process and want to bring someone on board who can partner with various key stakeholders and SMEs within the business to ultimately build a traceability matrix that they can be used during the lifetime of the project. This will be a management level role reporting into the leadership team.
Key tasks over the coming 12 months will be:
- Requirements gathering and drafting the BRD, relating to Finance (FICO) & Distribution (SD)
- Mapping and documenting all As Is processes.
- Contributing, as a Business Analyst, to the delivery of an MVP (with 3rd party vendor).
- Using your knowledge and experience of prior ECC to S/4Hana transformations across FICO and SD to challenge the vendor on solutions.
- Once viable MVP approved, providing high level documentation and other artifacts as a required, as part of the RFP for an SI partner.
- Beyond this, no doubt many further BA tasks relating to FICO and SD as the project progresses through the various stages.
About you:
- An experienced lead enterprise business analyst who has worked through a minimum of 1 but ideally more, ECC to S/4Hana transformations.
- Expertise in FICO as your primary SAP module, but with SD as a secondary module of expertise and experience.
- Ideally some experience as a Finance / FICO user at some point in your career.
- Able to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels from exec to users and vendors alike.
- Strong documentation skills; currently using Visio but open to alternative products if you prefer working with other tools.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- A team player who will work with and collaborate with peers.
- Willingness to be in the office sometimes, mainly in Central London, for workshops, vendor meetings and the like.
