Our Glasgow branch is looking to recruit for the following role:

Tool Hire Control Apprentice (Level 2)

You will join MKM as a Tool Hire Apprentice and we will support you through your training

Additional Apprenticeship Role Information

  • Reporting to the Hire Manager, you will learn how to provide support and advice on range of plant & equipment
  • Always wear the necessary Personal, Protective Clothing (PPC) as issued when at work
  • Adhere to all H&S policies
  • Any other duties and responsibilities commensurate with the accountabilities of the role.
  • Tool Hire controllers have an in-depth technical product knowledge in terms of operation of the equipment, health, safety and environmental considerations and can advise customers on the right plant, tools or equipment for a job and how to use it.
  • understand the specific requirements of the sectors in which their customers operate.
  • The role has a responsibility of being one of the main sources of technical advice and instruction for customers
  • Responsible for ensuring stock is maintained to the required standard
  • Helping to ensure that all legal, health, safety and environmental requirements are met
  • This role will be working 40 hours a week and this will include working alternate Saturday mornings.
