Credit Risk Impairment Manager
City of London or Milton Keynes – 2 days a week onsite, 1 of which will be Milton Keynes

The Credit Risk Impairment manager is a senior individual within the Provision and Forecasting team responsible for the management of Retail or Corporate Impairment stock. Key activities include but are not limited to: monthly impairment reporting; review and challenge of the existing suite of IFRS 9 models; development and maintenance of analytical dashboards and MI; day to day management of up to 4 direct reports
Key responsibilities are:
Oversee model execution to produce ECL model output
Review and challenge of the model output.
On-going maintenance of existing post model adjustments and pro-active identification of new PMAs
Development of analytics dashboard and MI reports
Deputising for the Head of Credit Risk Impairment on senior committees.
Active engagement with other risk areas such as forecasting, portfolio management, collections etc.
Essential Skills & Experience
Extensive Risk Manager with Capital Impairment Experience
Preferable to have experience working within the portfolio allocated (Mortgages, Retail Unsecured or Corporate)
A good understanding of financial analysis, planning and modelling.
Understanding of the various stages of the impairment under IFRS 9.
SAS experience is essential.
