Ladieswear Technologist

Leeds – On site role.
£25,000 Basic
Working Hours: Days – Flexi working Hours.
Our leading Fashion client is currently looking for a Ladieswear Technologist on a Fixed Term contract (Maternity Cover) the role is going to be responsible for the development of goods (specifically Ladieswear) to ensure fair and consistent standards are applied in line with business priorities.
Main Responsibilities of the Ladieswear Technologist
- Working on multiple products (specifically Ladieswear)
- To spec, fit and seal styles within the product ranges
- Working closely with suppliers to ensure tasks are completed in line with critical path dates
- Check and approve branding/labelling on each style in line with brand definitions
- Assess and sign off on wash test reports
- Oversee inspection of deliveries on relevant styles and agree actions on any rectification work required
- Collection and analysis of returns information
- Understand reasons for returns and take all possible commercial actions to improve performance
- Work cross functionally with internal departments to ensure smooth running of the day to day quality control function
Experience and Skills required
- Ideally need to hold a degree in a related field
- Must have knowledge of pattern cutting and construction within the Fashion Industry
- Must have strong attention to detail
- Excellent accuracy skills
- Strong IT software skills
