We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Community Care Worker to provide exceptional support and assistance to our Service Users. As a Care Worker, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require specialized care and support. Your primary responsibility will be to promote independence, dignity, and well-being among the service users in your care, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Provide person-centered care
- Assist with daily living activities

Qualifications and Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar care role, preferably working with adults with learning disabilities.
- Knowledge and understanding of learning disabilities, their impact on individuals, and appropriate care approaches.
- Compassion, empathy, and patience to support individuals with diverse needs and challenges.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with individuals, their families, and a multi-disciplinary team.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic care environment.
- Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations, safeguarding procedures, and confidentiality guidelines.
- A commitment to promoting the rights, dignity, and well-being of Service Users
- Relevant certifications or training in care, such as NVQ/Diploma or equivalent, would be advantageous.
