We are looking for an electrically qualified Service Engineer / Installation Engineer to join our team. You’ll install high quality lifting equipment on customer sites all over the UK and occasionally worldwide. Whether you are on a customer’s site or in our manufacturing facility in the beautiful High Peak countryside, no two days will be the same.
BASIC SALARY: £35,000 – £40,000

LOCATION: This role is a site based role, so most days you will commute from home with the occasional days based at our High Peak site.

JOB DESCRIPTION: Installation Engineer, Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Electrical Engineer – Electrical, Electrical installation, Capital Equipment, LEEA
Reporting to the Technical Services Manager you’ll be part of a small, but highly skilled and close knit team, installing and commissioning our world class overhead cranes on customer sites throughout the UK and across the world. When you’re not off on your travels, you’ll be working at our modern manufacturing plant, based in the beautiful countryside of the High Peaks.
This is a very varied role and you’ll find yourself involved in:
· Pre-assembly prior to delivery to site.
· Onsite- installation and testing
· Final commissioning and customer hand-over
· Completion of all H&S and RAMS documentation
This is just a sample of what you’ll be doing, please also consider applying if you have experience of working on:
· Winches, hoists & motors.
· Bearings, gearboxes & clutches.
· Using PLC’s to fault find.
PERSON SPECIFICATION: Installation Engineer, Service Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, Electrical Engineer – Electrical, Electrical installation, Capital Equipment, LEEA
You’ll be a qualified and experienced electrically biased Installation Engineer who is happy working at heights and willing to travel throughout the UK and overseas when required.
You’ll:
· Be an expert with 3 phase motor controls and PLC’s – we use Schnieder, but we’ll cross train you if necessary.
· Ideally be certified 17th edition – this is a preference but not an essential.
· Be an excellent problem solver, able to identify and resolve faults.
· Possess strong organisational skills, taking the lead of both plant & labour on site.
We would particularly welcome applications from anyone with an armed forces background.
