We are delighted to be working in partnership with a highly successful and well-respected client in Goring on Thames, who are recruiting for a Sales Executive to join their team.
As Sales Executive, you will play an influential and largely autonomous role in growing our commercial and independent sales channels. As part of this growth plan, you will be expected to prospect, mine, quote and convert sales opportunities in these two focus areas.
Role: Sales Executive
Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 plus 10% bonus
Hours: 09.00 – 17.30
Location: Goring on Thames

Responsibilities of the Sales Executive:
- Manage existing and develop new independent sales accounts.
- Build relationships with customers analysing their needs and identifying opportunities.
- Negotiate sales contracts and pricing in accordance with published price lists.
- Establishing a strategy to find new prospects and sales leads.
- Coordinate efficient sales order processing.
- Ensure the availability of stock for sales and samples, offering alternatives when required.
- Work closely with and proactively support the wider sales team.
- Effective relationship management with our distribution centre
Requirements of the Sales Executive:
- Two years of sales experience desirable
- Team player
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Thorough understanding of marketing and negotiating techniques
- Fast learner and passion for sales
- Attention to detail.
- Communication skills – translate and present findings into understandable documents.
- Ability to identify gaps and implement process improvement initiatives.
