Test Manager – Technology
Robert Half Technology have partnered with a leading manufacturing firm who are seeking an experienced Test Manager to lead and enhance their existing QA function. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in driving improvements, implementing best practices, and elevating the overall testing standards within their tech function.
Contract Length: 6 months
Working: Remote (there will be some travel to UK sites)
Key Responsibilities:
Develop a clear vision and strategy for the enhancement of the QA function, aligning it with the company’s objectives and values.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, third-party partners, and internal departments to gather diverse perspectives and implement innovative QA methodologies.
Prioritise improvement initiatives by assessing their impact and feasibility, creating a roadmap for implementation, and determining the optimal sequence of actions.
Lead the execution of QA process enhancements, ensuring seamless integration into existing workflows while driving efficiency and effectiveness.
Establish comprehensive measurement frameworks to evaluate the impact of implemented changes, catering to both operational needs and executive-level reporting.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing guidance, training, and mentorship to QA team members, promoting excellence and accountability.
Act as a liaison between QA teams and senior management, conveying the strategic vision, progress, and outcomes in a manner that resonates with executives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in a QA managerial or leadership role, with a track record of successfully enhancing QA functions within complex organisations.
Strong understanding of QA methodologies, best practices, and industry standards.
Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences, from team members to senior executives.
Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to develop and execute plans that drive meaningful change and improvements.
Proficiency in data analysis, metrics-driven decision-making, and reporting.
