Our client is an award-winning caterer, creative and passionate about food and events and they have an amazing opportunity for a motivated Sales & Events Manager to drive their growth and deliver the finest quality service and experience for all guests at this most well-known established and unique venue that offer amazing event and meeting spaces to hosts variety of high-end corporate and private events and conferences.
This is a customer facing role, so you will need to have excellent interpersonal skills, have a real drive to deliver the best possible service and exceeding the customer’s expectations.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales & Events Manager to lead our sales efforts and oversee event planning and execution. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a proven track record in sales, and a keen eye for creating seamless and memorable events.
As the Sales & Events Manager, you will be responsible for promoting the Venue’s facilities to prospective clients and will act as the main point of contact for coordinating their events from the initial enquiry, sending proposals and costings, right through to finalizing all the last-minute details.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement sales strategies to attract and secure corporate events, conferences, and other special occasions.
Client Relationships: Cultivate and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring exceptional service throughout the event planning process.
Event Coordination: Work closely with all relevant departments to plan and deliver successful events and oversee event planning, coordinating with clients and internal teams to ensure flawless execution of events from start to finish..
Requirements:
* Experienced in working in Hospitality or Events industry with "pro- active" & "re-active" sales activities.
* Strong organizational and leadership skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
* Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
* Be an effective team player with a bubbly, outgoing personality to work well within a team as well as on your own initiative.
* Passionately driven and ambitious, with a mature communication skills.
