We are recruiting for a Business Development Manager to join a well established print and packaging company based in Pontypridd although you would work remotely with flexibility to visit the offices when required.
This Business Development Manager role is a permanent position with a salary of £35-40k + commission (Year 1 OTE £45k per annum) plus 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays!
As Business Development Manager you will report into the Sales Manager networking to win new business within any business that requires printed retail packaging. You will be comfortable identifying your own leads, determining and building rapport with the correct decision makers to understand their business requirements and solution sell and gain repeat business. You will work closely with a team of estimators and account managers, create quotations, send samples and close the deal.
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience working as a Business Development Manager or Field Sales Executive
- Proven success of selling print, or packaging ideally to the retail industry
- Ability to close deals up to £150k in value
- Used to working to annual targets of £500k+
- Good IT skills with experience of managing your own diary and administration
- You will be self motivated with ambition to succeed and exceed targets
- Full clean driving license with the flexibility to travel across UK to attend client meetings
