Over the last few years, the business has seen tremendous growth, moving through the gears with particular strength in the e-commerce, travel and automotive markets – working with businesses with an annual digital marketing spend in excess of £1m. The company structure is deliberately flat, and everyone gets a chance to provide input either at a product, customer service or company level.
Spike are looking for a driven, collaborative and analytical SEO Specialist to join the team in their Leeds City Centre office.
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has a clear understanding of customer objectives and who can suggest and implement relevant SEO strategies to achieve them
- Has skills in the build & optimisation of large-scale Google Ads accounts, encompassing Search, Display and Shopping ad formats
- Has the ability to explain to the customer in clear, non-technical language the purpose of any SEO actions and desired outcomes
- Can implement best practice technical SEO and develop new methods- covering local, country level and multilingual organic search whilst keeping up to date with the very latest blogs and knowledge of SEO best practice
Requirements
- 1 + years’ experience in SEO either an agency or client side.
- Excellent understanding of the latest search engine technologies.
- Excellent communication skills
- The desire to continually learn and better yourself
- The ability to have fun at work is essential
What you’ll be doing
With a strong emphasis on technical SEO, you will be working with the team to provide new and creative SEO methods to support the wider marketing goals for clients. You will also carry out bespoke and in-depth technical audits of SEO performance, then analysing and reporting to non-technically minded clients in a clear manner.
