Finance Business Partner – Hybrid, with weekly travel

T2M have been retained to recruit a Finance Business Partner for a division of a market leading international group. This is a great opportunity that will extend experience beyond the normal FBP activities to include some M&A activity, special projects etc. You would be the conduit between a number of operating businesses as the trusted business advisor (and challenger) and report directly into the Finance Director.
This will be a hybrid role with UK & European travel. This is a key appointment as it will form part of the group succession planning to SLT level, and package will be in the range of £75-85k plus car and bonus.
We need someone who thrives on being ‘out and about’ and being the ‘go to’ finance person for high quality business decision support. You will need to be commercially sharp with great analytical, presentation and influencing skills.
Responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner:
- Work collaboratively towards the strategic business plan to ensure return on investment.
- Monitor and work with finance and non-finance teams at local / regional level to ensure effective costings, forecasting and agreed KPI are met.
- Support with client bids and proposals.
- Ensure compliance with reporting timeline requirements are met such as auditing, year-end reporting & HMRC.
- Lead on budget setting.
Requirements to be a successful Finance Business Partner:
- Qualified CIMA / ACCA or equivalent.
- Degree in an accounting or finance.
- Experience of IFRS and UK GAAP.
- Previous Finance Business Partnering / commercial experience covering multiple sites.
- Confident and articulate with great communication skills.
- Inquisitive and detail focused – happy to dig into information to find solutions to issues.
- Strong systems experience such as MS Dynamics / SAP ERP.
- Must have a driving licence and be happy to travel within the UK & Europe.
