Travel to Demark required – candidates who speak Danish are highly desirable

Overview

This role is for a global project manager in Denmark (can accept UK candidates willing to travel) to join a leading Insurance consultancy. This role is to work as a liaison among stakeholders and SMEs to elicit, develop the scope and plan, manage the progress of the plan, communicate and deliver the implementation of agreed requirements for changes to business processes, policies and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively engage and manage key senior stakeholders – both Country and Region
  • Manage the Country project team by providing direction and guidance to the workstreams. R
  • Lead and contribute to the requirements that drive business case goals and work practices
  • Define measurable success criteria and project benefits and costs.
  • Develop and manage the Country Scope and Transition design in collaboration with the Country Team, Operational Leads, Workstream Leads and Tech Team
  • Develop and manage the Country detailed project plan (inc all end-end elements and timings) across all elements of the project scope. This would include elements of role, process, location and technology planning and delivery milestones
  • Support the business through testing and implementation of the solution, to realise identified business benefits
  • Develop and agree Readiness criteria and Go-live decisioning process across the workstreams
  • Own the Testing and Parallel Run Plan delivery together with the Test Lead including Sign Off Criteria
  • Actively manage / mitigate all risks and issue activities – escalating and resolving as required. Ensure all PMO requirements are met inc RAID logs etc

Qualifications:

  • Significant experience of successful Lean / Operational Excellence project delivery
  • Experience of having led Change Project in Global and/or large complex organisations with a track record of delivery to the agreed outcomes
  • Expert knowledge of change management principles and methodologies with experience in role, process and systems transformations
  • Insurance industry background and understanding of the role of Broker
  • Familiar with a range of insurance processes and technology

Technical:

  • Experience of: Project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project)
  • Experience of facilitating workshops and conducting interviews with stakeholders at all levels
  • Understanding of organisation structure, functional interaction and roles and responsibilities
  • Understanding and experience of the full project lifecycle
  • Managing a multi-application Business and Technology Implementation
  • Leading Systems Analysis – Reconciling Business Requirements with System Capabilities
  • Co-ordinating Business Testing Design and Execution (configuration validation)
  • High-level understanding of insurance regulations
  • Operations management experience
  • Preferred experience in BPO or off-shoring
  • Experience of Process modelling tools (e.g. Visio) and any resource or financial planning tools
