They have an exceptional opportunity for an Internal Communications Manager, to come and develop the function and a build a strategy for internal audiences and be the focal point for all employee communications across the Group. Location: Currently my client offers flexi home/office working with their head office based in North Yorkshire.
The Role for The Internal Communications Manager:
- Working with the Communications Director on the creation, management, and implementation of internal communications strategy to reach across the Group
- Telling the story to illustrate part of the strategy and to highlight brand essence
- Managing calendar of communications across all channels,
- Develop and deliver communications materials that are clear, straightforward and jargon-free
- Writing and editing copy, examples include newsletters, content for our internal campaigns and updating internal channels
- Innovate, challenge, recommend best practice
- Helping to craft messages for internal communications campaigns
- Utilise effective measurement and evaluation tools for Continuous improvement
Skills/Experience Required for the Internal Communications Manager:
- Demonstrable experience within internal communications team and some strategy experience
- A passion to continuously learn, improvement and experience of developing best practice.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- An eye for a story and the ability to make the simple complex
- Ideally agency background and some PR experience would be useful
