Description

This position is for a Production Manager in the Electrical Assembly department, overseeing all production activities within a leading Industrial/Manufacturing firm based in Macclesfield

  • Manage and oversee all production activities within the electrical assembly department.
  • Maintain a clear understanding of the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Monitor productivity and implement strategies to improve efficiency.
  • Ensure all production activities align with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes.
  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Develop and manage the production budget.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop the production team.

Profile

A successful Production Manager (Electrical Assembly) should have:

  • A proven track record as a production manager, preferably with exposure to an electrical assembly environment.
  • Experience managing a production team in the industrial/manufacturing sector.
  • Knowledge of electrical assembly processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Excellent understanding of health and safety regulations
  • Electrical assembly of low volume complex electro-mechanical dynamic capital equipment – advantageous but not essential
  • Execution of capital electrical projects (built to order) – advantageous but not essential
