Randstad Education are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant for a Long Term role. We are looking for a dedicated and passionate person to work in with visually impaired students in Primary schools based in Tameside, you will be part of a team that supports students during their lessons in mainstream schools. The role requires someone that can drive as you will need to travel across different locations throughout the day.

The responsibilities of this role include:
- Working with pupils on a one to one basis
- Understanding the students needs and helping to overcome any difficulties
- Supporting the children in completing day to day tasks around the classroom and with their learning
- Ensuring that pupils are safeguarded and supported
The requirements for the role are:
- A DBS on the update service
- To be committed to pupils development
- Reading, writing, numeracy and communication skills
- A dedication to creating a positive learning environment for pupils
