Accounts Payable Specialist Main responsibilities:
- Perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team managing accounts for UK and Netherlands.
- Purchase ledger including the processing of invoices and payments, sales ledger including reconciling income for retail stores.
- Processing expenses and entering financial transaction onto accounting software.
Profile:
- Languages: English and Dutch – Essential
- Ability to work to strict deadlines, knowledge of accounting procedures and the ability to identify numerical errors.
- Hands on experience of outlook and excel are essential as are good communication skills, the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- 2 years’ Finance experience
- Systems: SAP, Excel, Outlook
Accounts Payable Specialist tasks:
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies.
- Process, code and enter invoices to SAP Reconcile supplier statements and resolve queries as they arise Prepare monthly payment schedules
- Maintain records for daily income of retail stores and handle queries directly with Managers and Cashiers Manage sales income including reconciliations for credit cards, cash tills, gifts and overseas sales ensuring correct documentation is received
- Balance sheet reconciliations for income ledger accounts Journals for cash expenses, banking and accounts entries as required
- General administration and ad hoc duties as they arise
