We are working with a collaborative company to recruit a contract Stores Controller, and the role comes with an attractive hourly rate.
The Stores Controller will be responsible for the smooth running of the facility’s operations, from receipt of goods to storage and distribution, whilst ensuring a safe working environment. You will develop and manage effective relationships across the breadth of the company and its customers and have the confidence to lead cross-discipline project teams technically.
As Stores Controller, you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in maintaining accurate inventory level counts
- Coordinating the transport to receive and/or deliver goods in/out, including loading and unloading of any deliveries and or shipments
- Ensuring that the company remains compliant with all relevant and appropriate regulatory requirements
- Loading and unloading deliveries and/or shipments
To apply for this Stores Controller position, you must have excellent organisational skills, along with proficient IT skills and excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels, both verbal and written. Additional qualifications include:
- Experience in goods in/out and within a similar role
- Experience using an ERP/MRP system
- Knowledge of export/import compliance measures and Health & Safety, Environmental and COSHH regulations
