Are you an experienced Maths Teacher looking for work in Warwickshire?
Winner Education are seeking a qualified Maths teacher for a secondary school in the Alcester, Warwickshire. This role is full time and will be long term until the end of the academic year, you must be readily available due to the urgency to fill this position as soon as possible.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work alongside the Curriculum Lead to ensure the curriculum is up to date and meets the needs of the students
- Adapt lessons to suit the needs of children
- Create a stimulating learning environment
- Support KS3 and KS4 pupils
- Conduct assessments and progress reports for individual pupils
- Ensure pupils are meeting set targets
- Provide additional 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs
- Support pupils with additional GCSE support
- Attend parents evenings when required
The successful Maths Teacher must:
- Support students with the transition of the next stage of their education or training
- Have previous experience working in a secondary school
- Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of the national curriculum
- Have strong resilience and patience
- Be a great team-player and form good relationships within the school environment
- Good classroom and behaviour management
