A phenomenally successful, high end technology company in the Wokingham area is looking for an accomplished Credit Controller to join them on a temporary basis. This thriving organisation has seen an upswing in demand for their premium product range during recent months, leading to increased sales and therefore a greater degree of financial exposure. As such, their Credit Control function needs additional support to ensure the timely collection of outstanding debt. Initially, this is expected to be a 2-3 month assignment; however, there is a strong possibility of an extension.
What will the Credit Controller role involve?
- Analysing outstanding / aged debt and chasing customers for collection;
- Resolving queries in a timely manner, building and maintaining strong rapport with new and existing clients;
- Reconciliation of debit accounts;
- Reduction of transactional backlog.
Suitable Candidate for the Credit Controller vacancy:
- Prior experience of credit control/accounts receivable/sales ledger, with an excellent track record of recovering outstanding debt;
- First rate interpersonal, communication and relationship building skills;
- Familiarity with at least one major ERP system plus intermediate/advanced Excel skills (pivots and lookups as a baseline);
- Available to start at short notice – 1 week or less.
