We are looking for a Payroll Team Leader who can oversee and ensure the smooth and compliant delivery of the payroll. You will manage the payment of salaries, pensions, and other deductions, and provide expert guidance on payroll processes, systems and legislation. You will also oversee the end-of-year processes. This is a pivotal role, with the opportunity to make a positive contribution towards the future development and the success of the payroll department.
Highlights
Lead and effectively manage a team of Payroll administrators, supporting individual development, managing work flow as well as ensuring a high level of performance
Participation and leadership on projects to continuously improve current system
Ensuring all Tax Year-End procedures are run including P60, P11D
Monitor and maintain compliance of internal controls
Oversee and manage more complex queries to resolution
Provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis
Working collaboratively with Key stake holders and Senior Managers towards positive solutions
Experience
Up-to-date knowledge of HMRC guidance and payroll rules and regulations
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Experience working within a fast paced and on multi frequency payrolls
Previous experience of managing or being a senior memeber of the team
