Our client, a Nursery School in Burnley with approximately 180 children on roll is looking to appoint a teacher to join their fantastic team in September 2024. This position is within one of the classes for 3 and 4 year olds, teaching a morning or afternoon class, with additional teaching responsibilities across school for the remainder of each day. The school will consider part-time working and would be discussed at interview. ECT’s, RQT’s and experienced teachers are encouraged to apply.
Successful applicants will have:

Essential Experience
- Demonstrate effective teaching and positive impact on children in EYFS
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework, good early years principles, practice and curriculum provision to meet the wide needs of children
- Ability to deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences which excite and motivate children to reach their full potential and meets the needs of all children
Desirable Experience
- Working knowledge of some appropriate strategies to support children’s communication such as Makaton or Signalong, PECS, Wellcomm and objects of reference
- Experience of leading a curriculum area
