Duties will include but not be limited too:

  • Manage a team of 3 while restructuring the department to make sure it is ready for the growth ahead.
  • Reporting to the Parent Company on financial performance and metrics.
  • Responsible for year-end statutory account submissions to the external accountant.
  • Main audit contact and financial procedure owner.
  • Main contact for external bodies for finance related information
  • To manage the purchase ledger function and company payroll, processing of bank transactions and monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Managing the sales ledger function including raising of invoices, preparation of payment applications and credit control.
  • Monthly finance reporting along with quarterly business performance, including identifying trends and increased costs.
  • Arrange bank payments, maintain asset register and negotiate insurance
  • Work with the Company Accountant for PAYE, VAT, company balance sheet, and other fiscal transactions.

  • Be an experienced line manager with a track record of restructuring/change management and upskilling
  • Have worked in rapidly expanding SME’s
  • Be energetic and eager to adapt to a fast pace and growing business
  • Have a roll your sleeves up hands on mentality and exposure to reporting, reconciliations and business partnering
  • Strong communication & excel skills
