Customer Service Advisor, Letchworth
A great opportunity to join a small but well-established client in Letchworth as a Customer Service Advisor, a newly created role where you will help develop a culture of customer satisfaction through timely and thorough handling of customer/supplier orders and queries/complaints.
You will also support the business with marketing and annual exhibitions, whilst also supporting other members of the team as and when required.
Responsibilities: –
- Answer customer support enquires, order processing, picking & packing customer orders /supplier orders within the stipulated deadlines.
- Patiently listen to customers and connect them with the appropriate department to address their needs.
- Learn the functions of the system to log in and respond to customer complaints.
- Accurately record and log interaction with customers and update account information and be able to retrieve this information to create reports for management.
- Keep sensitive information and financial records private and confidential.
- Work with management to maintain best practices for efficient communication with customers. Maintain stock management and count cycles within the agreed schedules.
- Receipt and reconcile all supplier orders, report all discrepancies and issues directly to line manager within 24hrs.
- Appropriately address issues such as returns, faulty merchandise, wrong delivery, and delayed delivery to inform customers.
- Address customer questions about new products, services, promotions on sales.
- Meet regularly with the team lead to give feedback to help improve customer service, response times etc.
- Supporting the warehouse with receipt of supplier orders.
Candidate Specification: –
- Excellent communication skills
- Previous customer support experience
- A willingness to learn and ability to pick things up quickly.
- Results driven.
- Able to work well as part of a team but equally as effective using your own initiative.
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Good prioritising and organisational skills
£25,000 – £26,000 DOE
Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm (half hour lunch)
21 days holiday plus bank holidays (rising by 1 day each year up to a total of 25)
