As a 2 nd Line Support Engineer, you will provide remote technical support to end users and clients daily, aiming to resolve all queries within the allocated timeframe. Your Responsibilities:
- Consistently provide high quality technical support to all clients, dealing with hardware and application problems.
- Serve as an escalation point for 1 st line engineers.
- Create and allocate tickets as required.
- Ensure all support calls are logged accurately.
- Accurately complete all paperwork about ongoing and completed work in a timely manner.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure an effective and efficient service to all customers.
- Coaching and mentoring of 1 st Line Support Engineers and / or Apprentices.
Your Skills:
- Relevant previous experience in a dynamic IT support environment.
- Good understanding of Office 365, Azure hosting and configuration, Entra, Intune device enrolment, and Windows Modern Desktop deployments.
- Knowledgeable on WatchGuard, Sophos, Datto, Intune, SharePoint.
- Recognised industry certifications e.g., MCP, Fundamentals, Technical Associate, Comp TIA, etc.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills.
- Natural problem solver with a proactive approach to customer service.
- Fantastic communication and time management skills.
