Academics have a primary school client based in the outskirts of Mansfield who are searching for an ambitious and dedicated 1:1 EYFS teaching assistant to support children with their learning and ensure a positive and happy environment for them to thrive in.
The staff team at this school help to build and support each other alonside offering great career progression opportunities.
This temporary role is supporting children on a 1:1 basis within EYFS and is due to commence in January 2024.
What would working as a 1:1 EYFS teaching assistant entail?
- Working hours of 8.15am to 3.45pm
- Supporting children on both a 1:1 and group basis
- Implementing creative ideas to bring children on course
- Having knowledge of the EYFS curriculum
- Adhering to the school safeguarding policy and ensuring the safety of all pupils in your care
- Adhering to the school behaviour policy
- Assisting children with SEN
What do you need to become a 1:1 SEN teaching assistant with Academics?
- Experience supporting children within a primary classroom setting
- A Level 2 or 3 Qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning or Early Years
- Hold an Enhanced DBS Certificate or be willing to process a new one
- A ‘can do’ attitude
- A personable and nurturing approach
- The ability to accurately report pupil progress
